FREE Money For West Volusia Home Buyers

The desire to buy a home is becoming a much easier reality for many first time home buyers. However, I know first hand that buyers who would love to own a home do not because they think they won’t qualify. Often times there are ways for first time home buyers to buy a home without credit and a minimum down payment. Listed below is Home-ownership Assistance Programs that equate to FREE money for West Volusia Home Buyers. Let’s see if any of the following programs will be right for you!

  • The City of Deltona offer two programs – Neighborhood Stabilization (NSP) and Down Payment Assistance (SHIP).
  • Volusia County offers a program for First Time Home Buyers called the Community Assistance Homebuyer Assistance program (HBA) which allows assistance with down payment and closing costs.
  • Volusia County offers a program referred to as the Neighborhood Stabilization Program which provides a deferred payment loan to approved households for expenses toward the purchase of a county-owned Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) home. Open to Deland, Debary and Orange City real estate.
  • Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program helps lenders to offer and provide loans to low and moderate income households to purchase a property in eligible rural areas.

With all of the down payment assistance programs, remember there are guidelines that must be followed. Some require taking classes or have income restrictions and other variables. It is important to read the small print!

I love working with all home buyers but it sure makes me smile when a first time home buyer has the ability to buy, close and live in their own home. That is what real estate is about! Regardless of whether you have never bought a house or if you’ve bought ten, I would love the opportunity to work with you!
