Home Sales from January 1 – May 31

According to the data provided by Stellar MLS between January 1, 2018 to May 31, 2018 and January 1, 2019 to May 31, 2019, home sales increased in every city but Orange City year over year with the highest increase being in Pierson.

Overall increases for the cities included in the research for West Volusia was approximately 7% when combining the cities identified below.

It may be interesting to note that Orange City also was the only city in Volusia County that encountered an estimated population decrease according to The Bureau of Economic and Business Research from 2017 to 2018 and it was the only city so far this year to also see a decrease in home sales.
