DELAND REAL ESTATE MARKET OVERVIEW
DeLand, Florida (Grassroots Newswire) February 4, 2020 — According to the Stellar MLS data, the West Volusia real estate markets have remained strong in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Deltona saw an average sales price of $190,988, an increase of 7% over the previous year. 542 homes sold in the 4th quarter and 363 remained on the market. That is an 18.4% decrease in inventory.
In DeLand, the average sales price was up 4.6% to $230,596 and the current inventory of homes for sale was 335, that is down 8.5% for the same time period the year before. The number of sales was up 13.1%.
Orange City saw an increase in the average sales price of 1.5% from a year ago to $193,938, the number of available homes for sale was up 16.1% and the number of homes sold was only up 2%. This is a positive sign as inventory remains very low in Orange City.
DeBary witnessed an 8% increase to an average sales price of $269,378 and a nearly 11% decline in the number of homes available for sale.
