From Laser Light Shows to Farmer’s Markets and The Croods, these are the top events going on in West Volusia this May 2021. Things are starting to open back up, just in time for spring and here are the top ten events you don’t want to miss this April

  • May 7th – The Croods: A New Age at Veterans Memorial Park; movie begins at dusk

  • May 9th – DeLand Indie Market Spring Mini Indie

  • May 12th –  Wine Women & Chocolate

  • May 14th through 15th – Ultimate Pink Floyd Experience & Laser Show
  • May 15th – DeLand Cruise In

  • May 15th – Spirit of Life Gala Day

  • May 15th – The 71st Annual Cracker Day

  • May 15th – Lake Helen Lake Festival
  • Canned Food Drive By & Drop Off (Orange City)

  • May 16th – The Orlando Big Band Swingtime in the Springtime
  • May 21st- Gallery Talk with Lauren Austin
  • May 26th – John Denver Tribute
  • May 28 – 30 – Twinka Tison’s Wellness Escapes

  • May 4th & 18th – Jazz on the Alley featuring the Alley Catz in Artisan Alley

An open air concert on alternate Tuesdays in Artisan Alley featuring The Alley Cats, a jazz quintet comprised of local students, and professional musicians. They play instrumental music in styles that include traditional jazz, swing, ballads, bebop, bossanova, blues, and funk.

Tables and chairs are provided for fans who are encouraged to bring their carry-out food and beverage from nearby establishments.

The public is invited to attend free of charge. In the event of inclement weather the event will be moved to the nearby Artisan Alley Garage.

  • Every Wednesday – Farmers’ Market at the Volusia County Fairgrounds
  • Every Friday Night – Artisan Alley Farmers Market

  • Every Saturday – Market in the Park in Lake Helen
